Audrey Ballish

ABOUT
Audrey Ballish is a soprano based in Austin, Texas. She is a 2024-2025 Resident Star with Austin Opera and recently performed in the company's production of Carmen as well as in their Resident Stars Showcase. She has also represented the company in several performances in the Austin community.
Audrey's notable stage credits include the role of Younger Alyce in Tom Cipullo’s ​Glory Denied ​with Boston Conservatory Opera, Soprano 1 (Hydrogen Jukebox​) with Boston Conservatory Opera, Susanna (​Le nozze di Figaro​) and Barbarina (​Le nozze di Figaro) ​with Bay View Music Festival, Suor Genovieffa (​Suor Angelica) w​ ith Berlin Opera Academy, Lisette (​La Rondine), and Norina (​Don Pasquale) ​at Oklahoma City University. Additionally, Ms. Ballish has sung the roles of Le Feu, La Princesse, and Le Rossignol​ (​L’Enfant et les SortileÌ€ges) ​as well as Laurie (​The Tender Land) ​at Oklahoma City University. In the summer of 2016, she performed the role of Anne Egerman (​A Little Night Music) ​with Hawaii Performing Arts Festival.
Audrey is a 2021 Tulsa District Winner and 2021 Midwest Region Encouragement Award Winner at the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions.

Audrey received a Master of Music in Opera Performance at Boston Conservatory at Berklee and holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and a Bachelor of Music in Music Theater from Oklahoma City University.
